Will natural fibres last in coastal humidity?
Cane, rattan and jute can do well with good airflow. Keep them out of direct rain and constant damp, and choose treated pieces for semi-outdoor spaces.
Do I need blue for a coastal look?
No. Sand, white and leafy greens alone can feel coastal. Blue is a nice accent, not a rule.
What about metal fittings near the sea?
Salty air can be hard on some metals. It’s worth choosing hardware and fittings rated for coastal conditions.
