JavaScript Developer. The Code Carpenter.

You’ll build the software behind every Belong home, on every screen: the app families carry in their pocket, the tools our studio runs on, and everything underneath. With AI at your elbow, an idea can reach families in days.

About the role

What the job is, in plain words.

As our JavaScript Developer, you’ll build the software behind every Belong home, wherever families and our team happen to be: the Belong app on phones and the web, the studio console the team runs projects from, belonginteriors.com, and the services and data underneath them all.

This isn’t a role for one layer of the stack. One day it’s a React Native screen, the next a database policy, an API or a background job. You’ll work AI-first, pairing with coding assistants to explore, prototype and ship quickly, then bring the judgement they can’t: reading every line, testing it properly and keeping families’ data safe.

You’ll work directly with the founders and sit beside the designers, site team and client experience team who use what you build. Together we’ll find where AI can make the interiors journey simpler, more personal and more transparent, and you’ll help shape how we build software as we grow.
